Mountain Creek lift ticket prices vary by date and ticket type. For the upcoming 2026–2027 winter season, regular day-ticket pricing has not yet been released. Tickets are sold in limited quantities, so checking prices and purchasing in advance is recommended.
Mountain Creek currently sells winter lift tickets online only. It is best to purchase your ticket before traveling to the resort, especially for weekends and other high-demand dates.
A Full Day Access Ticket provides access to the mountain during regular operating hours. A Twilight Access Ticket starts at 3:00 PM and is designed for guests who want to ski or snowboard later in the day.
Children 6 years old and younger can receive free mountain access when accompanied by an adult who purchases an eligible access ticket. Mountain Creek also offers free access for guests age 80 and older with the purchase of an adult access ticket.
No. Mountain Creek states that its daily access tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Because tickets are purchased for specific dates and availability may be limited, visitors should confirm their plans before completing a purchase.
Yes. Mountain Creek offers special skiing and snowboarding rates for groups of 15 or more people. Group pricing and availability should be arranged through the resort's group sales program before your visit.
Main Ticket Options
- Full Day Ticket: access from opening until closing.
- Twilight Ticket: access starting at 3:00 PM.
- Triple Play: three visits with no blackout dates or reservations.
- Season Pass: best for frequent visitors.
- Go Package: lift access plus ski or snowboard rental for beginners.
- Group Tickets: discounted rates for groups of 15 or more.
If you plan to ski Mountain Creek several times during the season, compare Triple Play and season passes before buying individual day tickets.
Should You Buy Tickets in Advance?
Yes. Mountain Creek sells daily lift tickets online and limits ticket quantities. Weekends, holidays, and good snow days can sell faster.
Tickets are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, so it is best to book once your ski date is confirmed.
Full Day or Twilight?
A Full Day ticket is usually the better choice if you are traveling from New York City or spending the entire day at the resort.
Twilight tickets make more sense if you arrive later or prefer afternoon and evening skiing.
For a dedicated day trip from NYC, Full Day access usually gives better value than Twilight access.
Free Access for Children and Seniors
Children age 6 and younger can receive free mountain access when accompanied by an adult with an eligible ticket.
Guests age 80 and older may also qualify for free mountain access under Mountain Creek's published ticket rules.
Triple Play
Triple Play includes three mountain visits and traditionally comes with:
- No blackout dates
- No reservations
- One visit per day
- Non-transferable access
The 2026/27 Triple Play sale is scheduled to begin September 15, 2026.
For anyone planning around three visits, this is one of the first options worth checking.
Beginner Tickets and Rentals
Beginners should compare the Mountain Creek Go Package, which combines lift access with ski or snowboard rental.
This can be more convenient than purchasing access and equipment separately.
Group Discounts
Mountain Creek offers special pricing for groups of 15 or more people.
Group rates may include discounts on:
- Lift tickets
- Rentals
- Lessons
Advance booking is required.
Getting to Mountain Creek from NYC
Mountain Creek is about 47 miles from New York City, which makes it one of the more convenient ski destinations for a day trip.
For groups that do not want to drive, Mountain Creek ski transportation from NYC can make the trip easier by removing the need to coordinate cars, parking, and return driving.
Parking
General parking at Mountain Creek is available for free.
Paid preferred parking is also available closer to the base area. Prices can vary, so check the final parking cost during online booking.
Best Ticket by Type of Skier
- One visit: Full Day Ticket.
- About three visits: Triple Play.
- Frequent skiing: Season Pass.
- First-time skier: Go Package.
- Group of 15+: Group Sales.
The best Mountain Creek ticket is not always the cheapest ticket. It is the option that matches how often you plan to ski.
